Extra Points: Targeted Rewards for Maximum Impact

The Extra Points feature offers a unique way to reward your customers, with the added benefit of product-targeted and customer-targeted strategies. Unlike basic point rewards that apply to all products or customers, Extra Points allow you to specify certain products, collections, or even customer segments to apply these rewards. This lets you focus on key items or high-value customers, encouraging repeat purchases and strategic engagement.

Creating an Extra Points Campaign

1.Create Extra Points Campaign

To create an Extra Points, simply click the Create Extra Points Campaign button.

2.Set a Campaign Title

  • In this section, give your campaign a unique title. This helps in distinguishing different campaigns when reviewing or editing them later.

3.Set Campaign Duration

  • Define the start and end dates of the campaign. You can set custom dates or schedule the campaign for a specific timeframe.

4.Set Earning Type

  • Decide how customers will earn points during the campaign.

  • You have two main options:

    • Incremental Points: Reward points based on how much the customer spends. For example, you could offer 1 point for every $5 spent. This encourages larger purchases.

    • Fixed Points: This option allows you to reward a fixed number of points regardless of the order value. For example, offer 10 points for any purchase, regardless of the total amount spent.

5.Select Most Rewarding Rule

The Most Rewarding is an optional feature that makes your extra points campaign take priority over other point-based campaigns. By selecting this option:

  • Customers will only earn points from the Extra Points Campaign and will be excluded from other active point-based campaigns during that time.

  • This ensures that the extra points offer is the primary reward for those customers.

6.Define Eligible Customers

  • Choose the group of customers eligible for the campaign:

    • All Customers: Make the rewards available to everyone who purchases during the campaign period.

    • VIP Tier Selection: Target specific customer segments by choosing particular VIP tiers.

7.Define Eligible Products

  • Select the products or collections where customers can earn extra points. You can:

    • Include all products.

    • Focus on specific products or collections.

By customizing who gets the rewards and for which products, the Extra Points feature enables you to craft personalized incentives, driving higher engagement and conversion with more precision.

Note

Targeting products or Collections are a great way to promote key items or collections, driving higher sales of targeted products.

8.Click the ‘‘Create’’ Button

After completing the setup of your Extra Points Campaign, do not forget to click ‘‘Create’’ button to launch your campaign!
