Referrals
Referral programs allow you to reward your customers for spreading the word about your store. Customers can share referral links via social media or email and earn rewards when their friends or new customers make purchases.
Here’s a detailed guide to setting up and managing referral campaigns:
1. Referral Programs
There are two main referral campaigns available in Extra360: Friend Referral Campaign and Customer Referral Campaign.
Reward for Friends: The new customer (the friend) also receives a reward after their first purchase, encouraging them to complete their order. You can configure this reward in either a fixed or percentage discount coupons.
Reward for Customers: The existing customer who refers a friend also receives a set reward once their friend makes a qualifying purchase. You can configure this reward in the same way as the new customer either in a fixed or percentage discount coupons. Alternatively, the existing customer can also be rewarded with points, which they can redeem for rewards in the future.
2. Creating a Referral Reward
To create a referral reward, select either Friend Referral Campaign or Customer Referral Campaign.
You can then choose the reward coupon type:
Discount Amount: Fixed monetary discount on future purchases.
Percentage Discount: A percentage-based discount on purchases.
Points: Reward points that can be redeemed within your loyalty program. This option is exclusive to the Customer Referral Campaign.
3. Referral Link Sharing
Customers can easily share their unique referral links through social media platforms like Facebook, X, or via email, making it simple for them to spread the word and bring in new business.
4. Referral Redirection URL
Set a Referral Redirection URL where new customers will be taken after they click the referral link. This could be your homepage, a product page, or a specially designed landing page
5. Program Status
Easily activate or deactivate your referral programs as needed. This gives you control over when and how referral campaigns run.
